The artists have been part of an online Bulawayo Hip Hop charts show on a local website, da-grape-vine.com.

The event is sponsored by Grapevine, a local company founded by Lwazi Mpoko (25) and Naboth “Rizla” Rimayi (29) from the City of Kings.

The company intends to promote arts in Bulawayo with their main thrust on Hip Hop and urban culture through their website. Rimayi last week said the artists have all been part of their online Bulawayo Rap Charts show.

“We are also giving a chance to artists who have been part of the three months Streak by Da Flow Sessions which was a weekly event that was held over a period of three months in order to promote local artists,” he said.

“The sessions were co-hosted by Grapevine and Still Using Pressure Graffitti Crew, which were  successful  enough to get recognition from Intwasa.”

Some of the artists expected to launch their CDs include McReadwell Sebatha (Mac), Phathisani Nyathi aka Kidd Eggo, Tafadzwa Tarukwana (Kwanfire), Devine Sean Chisenwa (Sean D), Melusi Nyathi (Maestro), Madodana Nyathi (Madots) and the Tariqs  (crew) which is made up of four members Phathisani Ncube, Sindile Moyo, Nkosithandile Ngwenya and Brian Ndlovu.
