The coal miners lost to Dynamos on the day their coaches — Nation Dube and Mebelo Njekwa — were allegedly assaulted by DeMbare marshals before kickoff.
A Premier Soccer League (PSL) Disciplinary Committee had ruled that the match be replayed at a neutral venue, but Dynamos appealed against the ruling by the league chiefs and the Zifa appeals committee upheld the result of the match.
The coal miners, however, believed principles of natural justice were not applied and appealed against the decision.
The matter is now set to be heard by the arbitration court chaired by Muchadeyi Masunda, who was not available for comment yesterday.
Hwange secretary Burzil Dube said a date had not yet been set for the matter to be heard. He, however, said they were not worried by the delay, but simply wanted justice to triumph.
“No date has been set yet, but we are not worried about the delay. All we want is justice to prevail,” Dube said.

Zifa chief executive Jonathan Mashingaidze could not be reached for comment. Hwange, who are on sixth position from the bottom with 30 points from 28 matches, are in danger of bidding farewell to the elite league should they lose their remaining two matches of the campaign. They have two easy fixtures against Blue Rangers at home and relegated Quelaton in Bulawayo.
On the other hand, reigning champions Dynamos, who are leading the pack with 65 points — two ahead of second-placed Highlanders following a crucial 2-1 victory over Monomotapa on Sunday with Bosso defeating Hardbody 2-0 — are also anxious to know the outcome of the appeal.
