ZPC Hwange shot to the top of the Zifa Southern Region Division One football league at the weekend after beating former Premiership side Zimbabwe Saints 3-2 in Hwange on Saturday.

How Mine have also played 28 games but remained on 55 points after the loss to Sizani Fruit&Veg, but the race for the championship still remains wide open with Black Boots on position four also chasing the title with 52 points from 28 games.
Railstars moved a point closer to Black Boots at the weekend as they thumped Division Two-bound Emakhandeni Pirates 4-0 at Raylton Sports Club and have 51 points from the same number of games.
