The Vumba Half-Marathon race, which is being sponsored by Leopard Rock Hotel, is expected to be a success as a number of celebrated marathon runners like Tawengwa and Zhuwawo have already confirmed participation.

National Athletics Association of Zimbabwe director of coaching and talent identification, Tendai Tagara, said he was expecting a big-turnout at the event, adding registration for participants was being done at Harare Athletics Club.
