On the other hand Triangle posted a walk over win against Marondera- based side Surrey who failed to make it to Gibbo Stadium.

With five matches before the curtain comes down, Triangle are at the summit of the log standings with 64 points from 25 matches.

Their fellow Lowveld counterparts Hippo Valley are five points away with 59 points from the same matches.

Triangle head coach Gishon Ntini said he was not worried about how other teams were playing.

‘”At this moment we are only worried about collecting maximum points and today we won through a walk over,’’ said Ntini.
