THREE NewsDay reporters have been nominated for the National Journalistic and Media Awards to be held in Harare next week.

The awards are held annually to honour journalists who would have excelled in their different fields of reporting.
Chief Business Reporter Bernard Mpofu, Chief Reporter Everson Mushava and Senior Parliamentary Reporter Veneranda Langa were nominated for the Insurance reporter of the year, Legal and Parliamentary reporter of the year and Energy reporter of the year categories respectively.
Reporters from over 10 media houses were nominated for the 16 categories announced by the Zimbabwe Union of Journalists.
Tourism minister Walter Mzembi is scheduled to be the guest of honour.
