The two unbeaten sides clash in a 50-over encounter starting this morning, before wrapping up with a potentially explosive Twenty20 (T20)  encounter at the same venue tomorrow. Eagles top the points table in both the 50-over and T20 competitions after securing bonus points in their emphatic wins over Southern Rocks at Harare Sports Club at the weekend.

Mountaineers, who are a point adrift of Eagles in both formats, were also equally impressive as they returned from Bulawayo in high spirits after wins over Matabeleland Tuskers at Queens Sports Club.

Mountaineers will look up to their skipper Tino Mawoyo, who started his season like a house on fire with dominant half centuries in the two matches against Tuskers. Mawoyo scored 89 runs during the one-day match on Saturday before returning with a quick-fire 54 off 40 balls in the T20 match.
