MBARE-based Kingdom Praise Choir will tonight launch their live DVD album titled Kingdom Praise Volume 2: The release at Faith Ministries Mbare Community Church.

Report by Silence Charumbira, Entertainment Reporter

The launch will be graced by Zambian artist Kings Mumbi, Pastor Stanley Gwanzura and Mechanic Manyeruke, who will be guest of honour. Pastor Munatsi Sande of Faith Ministries said the album will be proof that background should not deter people from prospering.

“Nothing is impossible when one finds God. Mbare has been known for wrong reasons, but this is enough proof that a lot of good can still come out of it,” he said.

He said the music on the album is laden with special messages. The DVD was recorded in May this year at an event attended by Faith Ministries bishop Ngwiza Mkandla and Dr Shingi Munyeza, a senior pastor for the church and chief executive of African Sun. Pastor Sande, who is also the executive producer said they were aiming at spreading the Word of God through music and encouraging young people to turn to God.

“We hear destiny calling young people in our time and we are excited that most of them are responding well. The talent in Kingdom Praise is phenomenal. There is no limit if they stay connected to God.”

He added although this was just their second album, it was the unfolding of a greater story of a generation of worshippers who are aiming high.

Kingdom Praise is a praise and worship team under Faith Ministries Mbare Community Church previously known as Ecclesia.
