In an interview with NewsDay yesterday, group director Joseph Mudzingwa said he hoped the video would go a long way in spreading the gospel.

“We launched the video in Bulawayo last Saturday. It was a resounding success and I would like to thank our Bulawayo sister group Praise Family and our fans. We are launching the video in Harare tomorrow (today) and everyone who loves gospel music is invited. We hope this video will be a blessing to all who will watch it,” Mudzingwa said.

Lighthouse was formed in 1990 and has three audio albums titled Lighthouse (1995), Are you Ready (2004) and Behold He Comes (2008).

The video album carries songs from three albums which include a beautiful arrangement of the hymn Kumnandi ukwethemb’ uJesu (Its So Sweet to Trust in Jesus), Coming Again, Lighthouse, Usanonoka, Anoda Ndimukudze and Talk to God.

“The songs on our album are calm and soulful and they carry a powerful message full of encouragement and strength. We hope our audience will enjoy the music,” Nsantula Sinchuke, the group’s functions co-ordinator said.
