HARARE Harare Gardens Known to be the ceremonial venue and home to the Chibuku Neshamwari Traditional Dance Festival over the years, Harare Gardens will tomorrow play host to the National Finals where 10 groups drawn from the country’s provinces will converge in the battle for the grand finale. This event will mark the 49th anniversary of this extravaganza and mark the end of to a raw talent search programme which initially kicked off on June 6.By Entertainment Reporters Super Label Sulumani Chimbetu and the Ochestra Dendera Kings are back in town after several weeks of invading outlying venues. Tomorrow the “boys” will reignite the verve at Super Label which is located Cnr Chinhoyi St and Robert Mugabe Ave. He will be supported by Romeo Gasa. Tonight Sulumani performs at Destiny Night Club.

  City Sports Bar Tomorrow City Sports bar will host a welcome back party for Banyana Bafana dance troupe. The group is riding high following their Malawi tour where they held a series of performances. On Sunday Tryson Chimbetu will run down the weekend entertainment with a performance at the same venue.

  Holly’s Hotel Talented guitarist Progress Chipfumo and the Sounds of Motherland band will on Sunday perform at Holly’s Hotel. The show will be one of his weekly slots at the hotel. New Life Bar

  Alick Macheso will tonight make a date with his fans at New Life Bar in Budiriro where he will be supported by Macheso. Tomorrow the duo performs at Grand Hotel before winding up the weekend on Sunday at Mega 1 with a family show.

  Jazz 105 Leonard Zhakata will make a date with his fans at Jazz 105 tonight and will be supported by Jean Masters. Zhakata says he has found his winning formula again and aims to bring back his days of glory.

  Musakanene Bar Musakanene Bar Tonight will entertain revellers with some old skool jams to kick start the weekend. Tomorrow the usual dance mania weekend special will feature the Dynamic Ngoda Girls from Harare. On Sunday the ever inventive Mthwakazi from Bulawayo will make a date with revellers at this open air joint again. The night will proceed with old school vibes to entertain the revellers.

  The Basement Nightclub Reggae lovers will have another end-of -week dance during the “Reggae Rockers Friday” with Redemption Sound and the senior and legendary Garvey on the decks. The party will continue on Saturday starting midday with the Redemption Juniors on the decks.

  Chinhoyi Stadium Tomorrow all roads will lead to Chinhoyi where there will be a high profile gig which is set to feature reggae crooner Jah Prayzah, Peter Moyo and Douglas Chimbetu.
