Veteran midfielder Leo Kurauzvione of Eastern Region Division One League log leaders Triangle is confident they will collect maximum points from a mouth-       watering football encounter against Tenax at Sakubva Stadium tomorrow.

Report by Kenneth Nyangani Sports Correspondent Before the start of the season,Mutare-based Tenax were listed as one of the favourites to claim the sole ticket into the Premiership, but their campaign came off the rails after an indifferent start.

Tenax are proven party spoilers and recently held title contenders Hippo Valley to a goalless draw at the same venue and are sixth on the log standings with 30 points from 21 matches. Triangle top the league with 52 points from 21 matches, just two points ahead of second-placed Hippo Valley who have 50 points from the same number of matches. They are away to Mwenezana.

Former Dynamos player Kurauzvione believes that the match against the Mutare- based side will be a turning point.

“This is going to be one of the most important matches. The match is a must-win encounter, but Tenax are not easy guys, and I also believe that this going to be our major turning point,”  he said yesterday.

“We need to collect maximum points at all costs, but I believe that we are going to do it. The guys are raring to go and we have been preparing well. I think we have high chances of gaining promotion, but we just need to maintain our focus.”
