Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa has challenged men to stop blaming their environment for any situation they find themselves in, insisting solutions have been bestowed in them by God.

In a hard-hitting sermon titled The Creative Man, delivered at the ongoing Man World Convention, which he is co-hosting with Prophet Uebert Angel, Makandiwa said where there was failure, be it in business or marriage, the buck should stop with the person failing.

Speaking on business, marriage and spiritual issues at the convention in the presence of his “spiritual father”, Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng of Ghana, Makandiwa challenged men to do self-introspection rather than run around in search of solutions to problems.

Makandiwa said people’s failure to prosper in business, in marriages and social relations was because they seemed not to realise the intrinsic creative power that God gave them at creation.

He said that when God created man on the sixth day of creation, He rested on the seventh, not because He was tired, but because He knew what He had created on the sixth day was taking over the business of creation.

“God has given you the ability to continue with the creation.”

“Create the world that you desire, create the environment that you want to enjoy,” Makandiwa told the more than 25 000 men that gathered at the City Sports Centre on Thursday.

He added that “everything that we need, God gave us at creation”, saying that even when Adam was created, Eve was installed right inside him so that when time that the man needed Eve came, God did not go back to creating Eve, but simply retrieved her from Adam’s body.

He said most people looked in wrong places for the things that they need in life.

“Can you imagine Adam was just there alone in the forest and yet he was carrying somebody he was looking for?

“The person he was looking for was inside him. She was not in the streets, pub or beerhall,” he said, pointing out that “if Adam was serious about finding somebody comparable to him, he was supposed to take a journey inside himself”. Using the biblical example of Adam who yearned for a helper yet the helper resided inside him, Makandiwa said the same applied to people who looked for solutions to problems in all places and countries when the solutions resided inside them.

“The cars, houses and even money that you are looking for lie inside you.God gave you the raw materials, not the finished product. Some of you are looking for a finished product because you are lazy, you are not creative,” he said, challenging men to take initiatives in wealth creation.

Turning to marriage, Makandiwa chided men for jumping from one woman to the other, ostensibly in search of happiness and satisfaction.

“Most of you men, what you are looking for outside is inside of you. That’s why men are dying like rats, like cockroaches. The feeling that you are looking for over there, she doesn’t bring it to you.The satisfaction and the taste is not out there,” he said.

“What she does is that she comes to help you discover what you already have.”

Makandiwa warned men that they should stop operating like demons in the lives of their wives by destroying the good that they found in them.

Explaining how demons destroy the good people that they attack, Makandiwa said some men just operated like the demons and that once a woman became part of their lives, all the good in her was destroyed.
