A 52 -year -old man from Nyamandlovu is in trouble with the law for indecent assault after he allegedly forced his neighbour’s Grade Seven pupil to fondle his manhood in June this year.
Cleopas Moyo of Stanhope Farm pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Victor Mpofu sitting at Nyamandlovu circuit court.
He was remanded to August 17 on $50 bail for trial at Bulawayo Regional Court.
It is alleged that on June 20, the girl was sent by her grandmother whom she stays with, to call Moyo from his homestead.
They allegedly came together and while on the way, Moyo asked her whether she had started her monthly periods but she did not answer him.
He allegedly went on to ask her if she had seen a grown-up man’s manhood and if she wanted to see it.
The girl advised him that she was not interested but Moyo allegedly grabbed her hand and forced her to fondle his manhood.
When she arrived home she informed her grandmother who in turn made a police report leading to Moyo’s arrest.
