Castle Lager Premiership title contenders Chicken Inn are home to unpredictable new boys Harare City at Luveve Stadium on Saturday as the league resumes after a two-week break.

Chicken Inn, who have acquired the services of Ntokozo Tshuma and Moodley Njeleza during the transfer market, are on fifth position on the log-standings behind Highlanders, Shabanie Mine, Buffaloes and Dynamos with 26 points from 15 matches.

They drew 1-1 with Harare City in Harare in the reverse fixture before they beat Motor Action 1-0 at Luveve Stadium.

Before that they beat Monomotapa 2-1 at Luveve before they held dark horses Shabanie Mine in a 1-1 draw at Maglas Stadium.

Earlier, the Adam Ndlovu-coached Chicken Inn had beaten Hwange 2-1 at Luveve before holding league leaders Highlanders to a goalless draw at Barbourfields Stadium.

Harare City make their second trip to Bulawayo, where they also shared the spoils with Highlanders in a 1-1 ill-tempered draw at BF.

The Harare Municipality side, who have been joined by former Dynamos and Shooting Stars midfielder William Kupera, lost 1-0 to Shabanie Mine at Maglas before the stalemate with Chicken Inn at home.

Harare City, on position eleven on the log-standings had beaten Hwange 2-1 in Harare before the volatile draw with Highlanders at Emagumeni.

Before that the Premiership newcomers had accounted for struggling Black Mambas and champions Dynamos in identical 1-0 score-lines.
