Murape Murape was yesterday dropped from the Dynamos 18-man squad that is expected to leave for Angola this morning after the veteran midfielder aggravated an injury during the teams last training session.

Dynamos clash with Interclube in the decisive last 16 return match at the Estdio 22 de Junho Stadium on Sunday.

Kick-off is 1800hrs Zimbabwe time. Other big names omitted from the list are Devon Chafa and Timire Mamvura, both defensive midfielders. The duo did not take part in the first leg goalless draw because of suspension.

Assistant coach Tonderai Ndiraya said: Murape got injured again today (yesterday) and its sad because his experience is needed at this level of the competition. We have able replacements though and I believe those that have been selected are capable of getting us a good result.

The Harare giants are expected to leave Harare at 0700hrs via South Africa where they will connect to Luanda in the afternoon. They are expected to arrive in the evening and will only have tomorrow to acclimatise to the humid conditions of Luanda.

The winner of this fixture qualifies for the mini-league phase of the competition which comes with financial rewards and for Dynamos redemption of lost pride after their 7-1 aggregate loss to Esperance of Tunisia in the Caf Champions League second round earlier this year.

Interclube need an outright win while Dynamos will go through via a scoring draw.
