Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions Dynamos are plotting an FC Platinum raid where they hope to rob the Zvishavane outfit of attacker Allan Gahadzikwa and Shabanie’s Nelson Mazivisa.

Mazivisa is a Platinum player on loan to Shabanie Mine and is leading scorer with 10 goals from 12 matches. Also top of Dynamos’ wish-list is Gunners’ Cliff Sekete.

Championship winning coach Kalisto Pasuwa is under fire in a season where they have been knocked out of the Champions League. They recently lost to Harare City before a dull draw against InterClube of Angola in a Caf Confederation Cup match on Sunday.

Negotiations have already opened for the trio which is expected to help refresh the Dynamos squad already haunted by the prospect of losing Denver Mukamba, Takesure Chinyama and goalkeeper Washington Arubi.

DeMbare lost out to Caps in the race to sign Leonard Fiyado from Gunners.

According to impeccable sources, talks with the players and their club officials are at an advanced stage with DeMbare highly likely to get their targets.

“Those four are just some of the players the coaches have indicated they want and we are working hard to get them,” said a source. “Some of them have approached us and told us they wanted to join the team so the challenge is to convince their respective teams to sell, of which we have so far received positive responses.”

Former Motor Action star player Gahadzikwa, who has barely lasted a year in Zvishavane, is pushing for a return to Harare favouring the Glamour Boys as his destination in a possible loan move.

On the other hand, Shabanie’s Mazivisa’s form in the league, which has seen him score 10 goals, the highest so far, has seen him attract the attention of DeMbare who need to replace Chinyama.

Shabanie will not stand in the player’s way, but Dynamos have had to go through Platinum who own the player they loaned out to the Chinda Boys at the beginning of this term.

Dynamos are also considering players from lower divisions and have already invited a couple of strikers for trials.

Dynamos take on Quelaton at Luveve Stadium today as they seek to keep log leaders Highlanders and second-placed Shabanie within reach.

DeMbare have played two matches less than log leaders Highlanders with the latter opening an eight-point gap against their rivals.
