Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist Agent Sasco, also known as Assassin, is expected to perform in Harare next month.

Sasco, whose real name is Jeffrey Campell, will perform at the Harare Gardens on July 28. Promoter Clint Robinson of C and A Entertaiment, told NewsDay all was set for the show.

“I can confirm that Agent Sasco is going to perform in the country,” he said.

“All modalities have been sorted out. What is now left is for him to come and do what he does best on the stage.

“There will be no liveband on the day. Backtracks are going to be used instead.

“He will be supported by local artists that include Guspy Warrior, Dadza D, Ricky Fire and many more.

“As per our tradition, we introduce new artists every time we bring a foreign artist (and) this time we will have Micky D on board.

“We do this to give them a chance to perform at a bigger platform thereby promoting them too,”, Robinson added.

Sasco is well known for his hoarse voice and lyrical creativity.

He started his music career in the mid 1990s and was engouraged to turn it into a career by Spragga Benz.

Some of his popular singles include Nothing At All and Talk How Wi Feel.

He has been steadily climbing the musical ladder to become one of the best dancehall artists in Jamaica.
