Former premiership side Bantu Rovers continued with the impressive run in the Zifa Southern Region Division One League crushing Makhandeni Pirates 4-0 at White City Stadium on Saturday.

Nqobizitha Masuku grabbed a brace, Marvelous Nakamba a penalty and Evans Mwanza added the fourth.

Tshintsha Guluva are still top of the log table with 27 points in 11 games and are facing pressure from second-placed How Mine who dismissed Rufaro Rovers 2-0 at How Mine on Saturday to trail the log leaders by a point.

ZPC Hwange beat Sizani Fruits & Veg 2-0 at White City Stadium. It was a good result for ZPC Hwange who beat former Premiership side Zimbabwe Saints 2-0 last week.

While Saints were struggling, it was yet another good outing for former Premiership squad Railstars under the guidance of Tirivaviri Sithole winning 1-0 against Tsholotsho, away.

Going into the game, the two sides were neck-on-neck with 16 points in nine matches, but Tsholotsho now trail by three points.

Projects FC continued to find the going tough in the league going down 3-0 to Ntabazinduna. Projects are still winless in 10 games. They have four draws, have lost six matches and anchor the log with four points.
