The Harare Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday cancelled a warrant of arrest issued against MDC-T spokesperson Douglas Mwonzora on Tuesday after he failed to attend court in a case where he is facing charges of defrauding a client of Z$350 million in 2005.
Mwonzora was issued with the arrest warrant after failing to attend trial on Tuesday.
It is understood that Mwonzora failed to attend court as he was in South Africa.
The Nyanga North MP, who is also Copac co-chairperson, is expected back in court on June 26.
