Zim drivers out of Kenya Rally

Zimbabwean drivers will not take part in the 60th KCB Safari Rally in Nairobi, Kenya, following the close of deadline to submit entries last Friday.
The KCB Safari Rally which takes place from Friday to Sunday is the fourth leg of the eight-legged FIA African Rally Championship series.

Zimbabwe Motorsport Federation media and public relations officer Themba Mazvimbakupa told NewsDay Sport that only one navigator and two officials would participate in the rally.

“Yes, there won’t be any Zimbabwean drivers taking part in the KCB Safari Rally in Kenya this weekend except for co-driver Greg Stead who will navigate for Zambian Mohammad Essa who currently leads the African Rally Championship drivers’ standings.”
