Tripple B coach Friday Phiri is feeling the pressure to claim the Central Soccer League title after finishing in second position last season.

The Beitbridge side last season threw themselves into the spotlight after a strong challenge in their maiden Division One campaign.

They have started this season on the bright side, winning both their two matches and on Sunday they host Chrome Stars at Dulibadzimu Stadium.

“Yes, we are in good form and we hope to continue with that until the end of the season. There is always pressure when you are doing well and every team wants to beat you. But there are also teams like Chapungu, Tongogara and New ZimSteel and others that are equally as good as us,” said Phiri.

Their opponents last week lost 2-0 to New ZimSteel at Torwood Stadium.

New ZimSteel and Tongogara cross swords in a potentially stormy affair at Torwood Stadium tomorrow.

Both title favourites go into this match unbeaten having collected maximum points in their respective first two matches.

Other favourites Chapungu, who clobbered WhaWha 8-0 last weekend, are also looking to continue with their fine form when they meet MSU at Ascot Stadium tomorrow.

Veteran striker Philip Marufu, who grabbed a brace last weekend, will be facing the students who are yet to taste victory this season.

At Mbizo Stadium, another Beitbridge side Town United who ran riot against Air Stars last week, scoring seven without reply, will be away to Silo United tomorrow.

Fixtures Tomorrow Silo United v Town United (Mbizo Stadium); New Zim Steel v Tongogara (Torwood Stadium); WhaWha v FC Platinum (WhaWha Prison); Air Stars v Vumbachikwe (Rutendo Stadium); Jessie Mine v Strikers FC (Colleen Bawn Stadium); MSU v Chapungu (Ascot Stadium) Sunday Tripple B v Chrome Stars (Dulibadzimu); Blanket Mine v Zialanda (Blanket Stadium) Tuesday May 1 Strikers v MSU (Dulibadzimu Stadium)
