Three games and three losses. That is the story of Bulawayo side Quelaton in their first season in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.

It started with a 4-3 loss against Hwange at the Colliery on the opening day and one would have thought that after scoring three times away, the first home game would provide better results But, alas, they succumbed 3-0 to leaders Shabanie Mine at home before losing 2-0 to Chicken Inn in the Bulawayo derby on Saturday.

Thulani Sibanda and his men have to start picking up points if they are to move away from the relegation zone where, with Hardbody and Blue Rangers, they remain the only three clubs without a single point.

Meanwhile, the Highlanders defence was crudely exposed by newboys Hardbody on Sunday when they conceded three goals in their 5-3 win at Barbourfields.

This is despite that they had scored four times without reply in the opening match against more experienced opponents Blue Rangers.

The Highlanders defence of captain and centreback Innocent Mapuranga and Erick Mudzingwa and wingbacks Atlast Musasa and Honest Moyo was found wanting on several occasions as loss of concentration saw them conceding the three goals, while goalkeeper Ariel Sibanda was not convincing.
