CHEGUTU — Police have launched a manhunt for an unidentified man who allegedly molested two boys aged 10 and 12 after tying them with a string at a church shrine last week.

Mashonaland West police spokesperson Inspector Clemence Mabgweazara confirmed the incident which occurred on April 10 around 1pm at the Zion Church in the Umvovo area in Chegutu. “The unidentified assailant pounced on the two juveniles aged 10 and 12 and tied their hands with a string.

“He then pulled out his manhood and inserted it into the boys’ mouths one after the other,” said Magweazara, adding the assailant ordered the victims to suck his organ.

The assailant was noticed by a seven-year-old girl, one of the victims’ sister, who then rushed home and informed her father who in turn went to the scene, but found the assailant gone, police said.

The matter was reported to ZRP Pfupajena, while the boys were referred to Kadoma General Hospital for medical examination.
