The toddlers grandmother, Elizabeth Dembezeko, told NewsDay yesterday Simbarashes plight had not changed.
There has not been any assistance. Simba remains in the same pathetic condition and I continue to appeal for assistance, she said.
Simbarashes body is weak and he is unable to perform most activities expected of toddlers of his age. His grandmother said they struggle to buy the special milk and other medication he needs.
The cleft affects the childs ability to eat, speak, hear and even breathe.
