Alpha Media Holdings (AMH) chairman Trevor Ncube will tomorrow give a presentation at the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe (MAZ) business cocktail in Bulawayo on Innovation and Dynamism- the mark of distinct brands.

AMH publishes NewsDay, The Standard and Zimbabwe Independent.

MAZ, which is behind SuperBrands in Zimbabwe, will be hosting the cocktail for the Bulawayo business community under the theme, e-Leading Brands, Distinct Brands.

It is our firm belief, therefore, that as a business leader to reckon with and with your wide knowledge and exposure, the Bulawayo business community will be positively empowered by your presence at this event and in hearing your address, Lindaray Marembende, MAZ regional co-ordinator, said in her invitation to Ncube.

Furthermore, the Alpha Media brand has demonstrated great versatility.

Marembende said the theme recognised the need to challenge local business leaders to realise the importance of their brand’s ability to adapt and respond to changing customer tastes and needs, indicating future orientation and capabilities of the brand.

She said brand awareness and dominance, perceived quality and goodwill, longevity and brand loyalty were among key research elements of establishing the winning superbrands.

MAZ was launched in 2007 with the vision of becoming a leading body of marketing professionals.

Marembende said at the moment the economy required development and implementation of marketing strategies, hence the need for interaction between marketers to enhance career and professional development.

The event will also serve as a platform for various organisations to showcase their new products and services.

Over 100 guests comprising business leaders and senior business executives are expected to attend the Bulawayo function.
