A mouthwatering day awaits rugby fans at Harare Sports Club today as the curtain comes down on the Spar Summer Sevens (7s) series ahead of next weeks Spar International 7s tournament.

The main menu sees the countrys two biggest clubs Harare Sports Club and Old Georgians (OGs) locking horns for bragging rights and a chance to bag their first piece of silverware this season.

The two teams go into todays decisive tournament with an equal chance of coming out on top having won one tournament apiece in the first two legs.

Harare Sports Club won the first tournament at Groombridge a fortnight ago before Old Georgians got their revenge with a victory at the Lions backyard.

Harare Sports Club, who last won the Summer Series two years ago, have a slight advantage and go in todays matches leading the race with 44 points while OGs are second on 40 points.

OGs have maintained a firm stranglehold of all competitions in the local league over the past two years and last season completed a clean sweep of all three legs.
