BULAWAYO NewsDay Southern Edition entertainment reporter, Khulani Nkabinde, has been nominated for the 2011 National Arts Merit Awards (Nama) for Outstanding Arts Reporter in the print media category.
The awards were initially scheduled for Amakhosi Arts Centre in Bulawayo, but were later moved to the capital. Yesterday, Nkabinde expressed gratitude for the selectors appreciation of his works.
Great work deserves a reward and I am personally happy to have been nominated for this award that encapsulates the achievements of the arts industry in the country, which cannot be ignored, he said.
