The Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (Zimsec) November 2011 Ordinary Level results are out.

Zimsec director Happy Ndanga yesterday said the results would be ready for collection from various centres, starting today.

The release of the “O” Level results follows the Advanced Level results last week.

“As from tomorrow (today), 31 January 2012, heads can collect their results from Zimsec regional offices throughout the country or from the Ministry of Education, Sport, Arts and Culture offices as designated by the Zimsec regional manager in liaison with the provincial education director. Candidates should be able to collect their results from their centres soon thereafter,” Ndanga said in a statement.

He said Zimsec had lived up to its promise to release the results before the end of January.

The expeditious release of the 2011 results this year, Zimsec said, was linked to the implementation of a new system of marking — the Belt Marking System — which increased efficiency and accuracy in marking.
