Studio 263 actor Kizito Mawoko, popularly known for his role as Dread Welly, has released his second album entitled Plan B.

The album features songs such as Vachapembera, Not available and Zviri Ready.

Mawoko said he was trying to come up with a different and unique genre that would only be identified with him.

“I tried to come up with a fresh, unique and different genre that would only be identified with my name,” said Mawoko.

He said he worked with Que Montana on a track entitled Ngwara and hopes to work with other prominent musicians in future projects.

His hit Kamusikana Katete rocked both radio and television in 2004.

Mawoko said he is planning release videos, but availability of funds will determine when and how many he will have to shoot.

“I did the first draft of the album at Donbroad Studios before redoing it in my own studio (DWP Records), but I have faced mainly financial problems.”

He also said the album contains more mature content that the first one entitled Another Plan. “The album is pregnant with more mature content than the first which will reflect that I am maturing in the industry.”

The dreadlocked actor is still to perform live performances and plans to work with other musicians.
