Dhlakama wrangle

Former Under-17 coach, Rodwell Dhlakama, is at the centre of a tug-of-war between Swazilands top-flight football clubs Manzini Sundowns and Manzini Wanderers.

The former Monomotapa and Kiglon gaffer took over as coach of Manzini Sundowns two months ago, but he was growing increasingly frustrated by the clubs delay in offering him a contract.

Dhlakama is believed to have deserted the team for their rivals Wanderers who were willing to break the bank for his signature.

According to Swazi media reports, the Zimbabwean mentor had been offered 10 000 Emalangeni ($12 294) salary on top of other irresistible benefits by Wanderers, who felt he was a perfect replacement for sacked Mozambican mentor Mathews Mandlazi.
