Upper Lounge

Located at Rhodesville shopping centre, the Upper Lounge will tonight host the “Friday Upper Life” event featuring DJs Deevine and Flevah. The dress code for the event is strictly smart casual.

Tony’s Nite Spot (Portugal Restaurant — Pensão)

Located at corner Samora Machel Avenue and Eighth Street, Pensão is the place to be for party-loving clubbers. A new-look nightclub has been opened so be there for hard dancehall, conscious, hip-hop and ragga vibes from resident DJs Gerry, Slow and Symphk — guaranteed to rock you all night long. Open-air braai is on 24/7 and ice-cold beverages are available.

Fusion

Tonight there will be a Fusion Friday Night Lights party at the Fusion Café and bar. DJs Dee Nosh and L Roy will be on the decks.

Red Fox

Mic Inity will perform at the Red Fox tonight at an event which has been dubbed “Fire Friday with Mic Inity”. On Sunday there will be a “Mad Sundays” event featuring Judgement Sound, Legendary Sound, I-Randu, Badman Bee and Smylie.

Kebab Centre

Tomorrow Kebab Centre will host “Saturday Summer Jams” dubbed “MaRasta paKebab” in the afternoon with Judgement Yard, Legendary Sound and the Presidental Clique (Youngsen, Badman Bee, Smylie, Flevah and Etherton).

City Sports Bar The popular CBD sports bar will tonight reignite the dance group craze by playing host to the Crazy Boys. Tomorrow it will be a chance for the turntable masters with a host of local DJs. To close the weekend the joint will on Sunday host probably the most consistent dance group in Harare, Banyana Bafana.

Jazz 105

Dendera artist Sulumani Chimbetu comes to life tonight at the Josh Hozheri-run nightspot. He puts to test his latest signings when he officially kick-starts the musical showbiz year. On Saturday jazz outfit Jabavu Drive takes over the stage.

Extra Mile Leisure Centre

After his show tonight Sulumani Chimbetu tomorrow engages Shona rock outfit Chikwata 263 for a show at the popular outdoor venue. The show is likely to be one to remember as Chikwata 263 is destined to keep revellers entertained with their energy and uniqueness.

Horizon

Join house music DJ Tony Digital tonight at 6 pm for the Miller Freaky Friday show. Tony will be backed by DJs Keazy and Prince. Revellers get a free Miller upon entry. There are lots of prizes to be won.

Tomorrow evening Harare-based soul music disc jockey Dean will be performing at the venue backed by Pasee and Mark Vusani. The event is also organised by Miller.

Invunu Bar (Victoria Falls)

Tonight, from 6pm, join DJ Francis for a mixed bag of music at the popular resort town nightspot. Francis returns again tomorrow at the same time.
