Buffaloes begin PSL preparations

Newly Promoted Castle Lager Premier Soccer League side Buffaloes have begun preparations ahead of their return into top-flight football action.

Players were going through their paces at the first practice training session of the year yesterday at Pavilion grounds in Mutare under the watchful eye of head coach Shadreck Magurasave and his assistant Sicho Masachi.

Masachi said he was very happy most of his players had managed to attend the first day of the training and would be organising friendlies next month.

‘‘I am happy that most of my players are here because the first day is a tricky one. We will also be holding trials starting from today (yesterday) until the 15th of this month so that we can beef up the squad,” he said.
