Popular South Africa-based house music disc jockey, Oscar “Oskido” Mdlongwa is set to perform at Horizon tomorrow.

Lungile Dube, the director of Kasi Events Management confirmed the show and said the star disc jockey and musician, Oskido, would arrive in Bulawayo tomorrow afternoon.

“He will land at the Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo Airport at midday on Sunday and I will go and collect him.

His fans will have n opportunity to spend time with him in the afternoon as he will tour places such as the Bulawayo Centre, Watering Hole and Unity Village,” he said.

Dube said Oskido will then perform in the evening. Show organisers have slashed the entrance fees by half “so as to allow as many of his fans as possible to attend”.

“We have made it slightly cheaper so his fans who are mostly based in the high-density suburbs could afford to watch their idol behind the turntables,” he said.

Besides being a club disc jockey, Oskido is also a radio presenter with South Africa’s youthful radio station, YFM where he hosts his own house music show on Saturdays.

Dube said DJs S’bago, Mzoe, Mphoe and Scubbie will kick off the proceedings before Oskido.
