Friday night, Red Fox will host the Red Fox Sting Fest. Jamaica’s Mr Easy, Pascalle and Red Rat are billed to perform at the event. DJ Chris Goldfinger will also make an appearance.

Book Café

Reggae lovers are in for a treat this Christmas with yet another festival that is billed to explode at the popular reggae venues, Book Café and The Mannerberg on Saturday.

The festival, dubbed “Reggae Reggae Festival,” will witness performances by reggae artist, Mic Inity belting out live music alongside one of the most explosive reggae bands in Zimbabwe, Hotta Fire.

The longest surviving reggae band in Zimbabwe, Transit Crew, will also have the opportunity to showcase their flair when they take to the stage with a highly-anticipated new outfit after one of their lead vocalists Emmanuel “Mannex” Motsi quit the band to pursue solo projects.

Upper Lounge

Located at the Rhodesville Shopping centre, the Upper Lounge will Friday night host the Friday Nite Life event featuring DJs Flevah and Storm. The dress code for the event will be strictly smart casual.

Lime Bar

Situated in the Rolf Valley, the Lime Bar will Friday night host a “Friday Nite Experience” with Harare’s finest deejays T-Bass and P-Styles (Bass & Styles).

They will be backed by NR Ent. On Saturday the same venue will host a “Talk that talk sexy” Christmas Eve party where revelers will be expected to dress in Santa’s regalia. DJs Carter, Fingerz, Ren X and Blade will be on the decks.

Basement

Friday night, the Basement will host “The swag party” in conjuction with DJ Freefusions’ birthday bash. DJs Nash, Licious, Ericado, Freefusion, and Kakaziyo will be on the turntables. The dress code to the event is clothes with “swag”.

King Solomon’s (Kwekwe)

Jamaica’s Red Rat will make an appearance at the King Solomon’s club on Saturday evening.

Eddy’s Kite (Chegutu)

Eddy’s Kite will Friday night host the show of the year featuring Peter Moyo “Dhewa” and the Utakataka Express.

Wadzanai Cocktail Bar (Shamva)

Saturday night Mafaro Promotions presents Miss Shamva featuring performances from Fungisai Mashavave, Morgan and Tendai Dembo, Freeman and James Nyamande among others Bulawayo

Bar Labhala

Friday night, there the “Freaky Friday” show featuring the Ballers’ League disc jockeys, Slammer, Kaninjo and Ndebele Rockstar.

Saturday evening as from 8pm, there will be a ladies’ night show hosted by Sharon Dee. On Christmas Day, join the rest for a “Have a Miller Party”.

Jock and Saddle

On Friday night, local and South Africa-based deejays present an old school music session. On Saturday evening, there is the “Sunset Jam” session.

Queens Sports Club

On Saturday evening from 8pm till late, there will be the Summer Festival Bash featuring South African DJ Nood and Zimbabwe’s Paul D.

Athens Drive Inn (Esigodini)

On Saturday evening will see the official start of the “Christmas Party” featuring DJs Ladizman and Ma’grapes. The two DJs are back again on Christmas Day.

Praise and Worship Centre (Book launch)

Author, Chrophet Muchinezuro, launches his book entitled It Pays to be Different that focuses on the need for personal uniqueness on Saturday at 5pm.

Bishop Trust Sinjoki will also launch his book, When Satan Interviews You. The function will be held under the theme: “Everybody’s Birthday Banquet”.

Horizon

Internationally-acclaimed and award winning disc jockey, Oskido, performs on Christmas Day at Horizon in the evening.
