The classy and unbeaten Tamburlaine filly Control Freak runs tomorrow in the Harare Challenge and is expected to extend her unbeaten career starts to seven.

The newest sensation to Zimbabwean racing, Control Freak, made history in her last outing becoming the first three-year filly ever in the history of the HRIB Gold Cup (formerly known as the Schweppes Gold Cup) to win against best sprinters in the country.

Running for the first time around the bend over 1 600m, the gallop Control Freak put up on Monday morning, regular jockey Derreck David should have no problem notching up another victory for the Harris yard and maintaining the unbeaten run.

The Zimbabwe Challenge is the main race of the day and it does look like Jet Command, the imposing son of Jet Master, is the horse they all have to beat.

A gallant second to Control Freak in the HRIB Gold Cup, he definitely looked like a horse who just needed that run as he had not run for four months.

Local jockey Kevin Derere gets the ride and the Wright/Derere combination has struck up a good relationship as they combined last meeting to have two winners and a second.

Not far behind Jet Command was last season’s Champion Sprinter Auvergne (Quinton Riddle) and he has all the credentials to win this race.

Now under the care of new trainer Gokhan Terzi, this six-year-old Kitalpha gelding is one for the short list.

Harris Racing sends out four runners and riding arrangements do indicate Winter’s Night is the stable elect as Derreck David takes the ride.

A versatile sort who has run second over 1 000m and won over 1 600, 1 800m and 2 000m, he is another one who must be watched carefully and would be no surprise if he wins.

Watch out for Syracuse (Ralton Peters) and Sonic Barrier (Francois Herholdt) both from Harris Racing. Place Accumulator :- Leg 1: 1,6 Leg 2: 1,4 Leg 3: 1 Leg 4: 3 Leg 5: 1 Leg 6: 1,2 Leg 7: 6 cost $4-00 Pick Six:- Leg 1: 1,4,7 Leg 2: 1,2 Leg 3: 3,5 Leg 4: 1 Leg 5: 1,2,3 Leg 6: 6,9,10 cost $108
