FC Platinum coach Rahman Gumbo has expressed easiness over the opposition he has been drawn against in the 2012 Confederations of African Football (Caf) Champions League qualifying draw that was released by the Caf on Saturday.

The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League runners-up were drawn against Swaziland champions Green Mamba in the preliminary round, opposition that looks absolutely easy on paper. In the event that FC Platinum beat Green Mamba, they will face a stern test against Sudan’s Al-Merreikh in the first round.

“I think it’s a fair draw for us. I have been to Swaziland, I know their type of play and even before that I myself played a couple of teams in that country so I know a lot about the teams there.

The match against Green Mamba will be tough for us, obviously, but it’s winnable,” said Gumbo, who has won league titles in Malawi and Botswana.

The first leg of the match will be played in Mbabane on the weekend of February 17-19 and the reverse fixture in Zvishavane on the weekend of March 2-4.
