Remember Nyasha Chazika, the former Dynamos right wing-back?

Well, the player is back and would not mind another dance with the Zimbabwe champions. Chazika is starring as a centre-back at Eastern Region Division One outfit, the Marondera-based AMC.

Speaking to NewsDay Sport after his side had lost 2-0 to Hippo Valley in the Sylvia Dube Memorial Cup match final in Chiredzi on Saturday, he said Dynamos was his favourite side.

“My knee injury has been troubling me since I came from SuperSport in 2005. I am looking better, but l would like to play for Dynamos because this is where l belongs and it’s my home.

“l usually meet Callisto Pasuwa (Dynamos coach) and he has already indicated l can come so he could assess me. It has been made easier because AMC and Dynamos are sister clubs. But also if a club came up for my signature, l would have to consider,” he said.

Hippo Valley beat AMC 2-0 in the $65 000 Sylvia Dube Memorial Cup final match.

The Droment Chirova-coached AMC squad came into the match with their heads high hoping to defend the title they won last season.

Hippo got its goals through the boot of Abel Machaka towards the end of the first half before Cordias Siwempi put the final nail on the coffin deep into the second half to seal the victory.
