The Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (Zimsec) yesterday announced the release of Grade 7 results for 2011 candidates.

“Headmasters, parents and guardians of the 2011 Grade Seven candidates are hereby advised that the Zimsec Grade Seven results were dispatched to the Zimsec Regional Offices and will be available for collection by centre supervisors from today, Monday, 28 November,” said Zimsec in a statement.

The examinations body also praised those who participated in the writing, marking and processing of the Tonga examination paper that was written at Grade 7 level for the first time this year.

“. . . we wish to compliment the markers of Tonga, which was examined for the first time at that level this year. Other local languages will be added on in due course, on an annual basis,” read the Zimsec statement.
