Zifa Bulawayo Metropolitan Province Division Two football league runners-up Sizane Fruits & Veg clash with Division Three champions Old Nic Mine in the R15 000 Thermotech Super-8 final at White City Stadium on Sunday.

The tournament started last week with the quarter-finals played at Nguboyenja and Matshobana.

Old Nic Mine bundled out Division Two champions Tsholotsho FC 3-1 in the quarterfinal at Nguboyenja last Saturday before beating another Division Two side Zim Leopards to storm into the final on Sunday at the same venue.

Sizane, who will be playing in the Zifa Buscod Southern Region Division One football league next year, hammered Division Three runners-up Portland Cement 3-0 in the other quarter-final on Saturday before dismissing Division Two side Rainbow Hotel 2-0 in the semi-finals at Nguboyenja on Sunday.

Winners of the tournament will pocket R2 500; receive a floating trophy, playing kit and gold medals while the runners-up will walk away with R1 500, silver medals and a playing kit.

Each set of the kits is worth $300.

The final will be played at 3pm while earlier in the day, Zim Leopards and Rainbow Hotel fight for third place at the same venue.

Zim Leopards cruised to the semi-final after edging Division Three side Magwegwe Pirates 2-0 in quarter-final before they were stopped by Old Nic Mine.

Rainbow Hotel beat Division Three outfit Toronto 1-0 in the other quarter- final last Saturday at Matshobana to progress to the semi-final before they were held back by Sizane on Sunday at Nguboyenja.

The winner between the curtain-raisers will receive R1 000 while the loser will take home R500.

It is the first time that the Zifa Bulawayo Province has clinched an end of season tournament deal.
