Organisers of the Miss Harare pageant are calling all beauties interested in modelling to attend auditions which will be held on Saturday afternoon at the National Art Gallery in Harare.

Debra Chidavaenzi, one of the organisers, said 25 contestants would be selected at the auditions to compete for the Miss Harare crown.

“Those interested should be between 17 to 24 years of age and they should not be more than 24 years on the date of the Miss World final,” she said.

The applicants will be required to produce one photo of themselves including one head shot (face only), and full body facing the camera (no makeup on). The models should be 1,67 metres to 1,75 metres tall.

Chidavaenzi said there would be various prizes to be won at the grand finale which has been slated for December 23. The three winners who will be selected will go on to represent Harare at the Miss Zimbabwe 2012 finale.

Last year, Malaika Mushandu was crowned Miss Harare, Tanyaradzwa Musonza first princess and Noreen Chaminuka was second princess.

The Miss Zimbabwe 2012 will be held in February next year and reigning Miss Zimbabwe, Mushandu will crown her successor.
