A lustful 31-year- old married man from Fred Mine compound in Filabusi who fondled the breasts of a 14-year old girl who was coming from school will spend six months in jail for indecent assault.
Khulekani Ndlovu pleaded not guilty to indecent assault charges when he appeared before Filabusi magistrate, Shillah Nazombe on Tuesday but he was convicted jailed.
Two months of the sentence were suspended for five years on condition of good behaviour.
Ndlovu met the girl who is in Form 2 on October 18 near Mafutha Business Centre in Filabusi as she walkedg home with school mates.
He proposed love to the minor but he was turned down. The girl tried to run away as Ndlovu continued bothering her but he caught up with her and fondled her breasts.
The girl was later rescued by a passerby who made a report to the police leading to Ndlovu’s arrest. Smart Tafireyi prosecuted.
