BINGA — A Binga man allegedly returned home after spending two months at work in Hwange and beat up his wife, accusing her of failing to satisfy his sexual drive.

Minister Ndlovu (29) charged his wife’s failure to satisfy his libido was due to infidelity.

Ndlovu of Muchesu village in Binga pleaded guilty to assault charges when he appeared before Binga magistrate Stephen Ndlovu last week. He was convicted and sentenced to 30 days in jail.

The State case was Ndlovu arrived home on October 14 after spending two months away in Hwange and became intimate with his wife, Abigail Munga (21). However, Ndlovu was not satisfied with his wife’s performance in bed and assaulted her accusing her of infidelity.

Munga sustained injuries as a result of the assault. She made a report to the police, leading to her husband’s arrest.

In his plea, Ndlovu said: “I had not been meeting my wife for the past two months and when we met it was like she had all along been meeting with other men and I was angry.”
