La Distra Brut last week launched Graham Beck Wines in Zimbabwe at a series of functions held over three days in Harare.

Graham Beck Wines have established an enviable reputation worldwide, as evidenced by the fact Graham Beck Brut NV was chosen by Michelle Obama as the wine with which to toast President Barack Obama’s inauguration as President of the United States.

The same wine was chosen by Nelson Mandela to toast his inauguration as the first President of a democratic South Africa.

In the closing scenes of the latest James Bond book, Carte Blanche, Bond, swops his trademark martini for a Cuvee Clive, another of the wines in the Graham Beck range.

Graham Beck is a South African family winery, founded by Graham Beck.

La Distra Brut offers a wide range of Graham Beck ones, from everyday drinking wines to ultra premium top quality wines. “Nothing less than our utmost best” was Graham Becks’ motto. It is a motto top wine makers at the Graham Becks wineries continue to adhere to.

One of them, Pieter “Bubbles” Ferreira, was in Harare last week for the launch of these wines in Zimbabwe.
