Group A log leaders Mali had 2-2 draw against Liberia to take their points tally to 10 from six matches.
Zimbabwe finished their Nations Cup campaign in third position with eight points in the four-team group. Cape Verde moved to second place with 10 points from six matches after beating Zimbabwe.
