Zimpost will host the 4th Southern African Postal Operators’ Association (Sapoa) Games on Friday and Saturday at the National Sports Stadium.
According to a Press release, seven countries from the region have confirmed their participation in the games: Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
The games will be held under the theme Postal Games for Community Development.
Sapoa is a Sadc regional body responsible for the postal sector.
The organisation’s mandate is to ensure that every sector of the community has access to a modern, efficient and diversified range of mail, financial and electronic products.
In preparation for these games, Zimpost received sponsorship from its strategic partners and these include the Zimbabwe National Road Administration, NetOne, Tetrad, CourierConnect, Champions Insurance, TelOne, Insurance Council of Zimbabwe, Econet, POSB, Henlow, Chiware Sport Management, NSSA, Nyaradzo and Nicoz Diamond.
