HARARE Fusion Bar and Café

C&A Ent in collaboration with Horizon, D&L and Ace Ent will on Friday night host one of Africa’s leading house music gurus Liquideep from South Africa for the first time in Harare.

DJs Dee Nosh, L-Roy and Rax will be on the decks and the event will be in collaboration with Maffarro’s birthday party and Smirnoff’s 50th anniversary.

Portugal Restaurant (Pensao)

Located at corner Samora Machel Avenue and Eighth Street, Pensao is the place for party-loving clubbers. A wide range of club music and ice-cold beverages are always on offer. This and every Saturday catch hard dancehall and club sounds with host DJs Flow and Smooth.

Glamis Arena

Musical bands drawn from the country’s 10 provinces will compete in Chibuku Road to Fame finals on Saturday afternoon. The group which will come out tops will walk away with $5 000 and a recording contract from Gramma Records.

The second group will walk away with $4 000 while the third will pocket $3 000. Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi, Alick Macheso, Tongai “Dhewa” Moyo and Allan Chimbetu will provide entertainment. Also, last year’s Chibuku Road to Fame winners, Club Shanga, will be the guest performers.

Mega Westgate

Transit Crew presents “Woza Friday, dah Reggae Vibrations” at Mega Westgate, which was formerly known as Phat Sams, at Westgate shopping complex on Friday night.

Sports Diner International

Sungura maestro Alick Macheso will on Sunday stage an evening show at Sports Diner International. His weekend shows start tonight with a journey all the way to Mhangura where he is billed to perform at Club 7 Million.

Wedza Spaceman

Sulumani Chimbetu will team up with Real Sounds of Africa and Obvious Mutani for a family show at Wedza Spaceman Bar in Glen Norah.

Lime Bar

DJs T Bass and P Styles alongside Chucknosis will on Friday night host the “Miller Turn Up the Night” party at Lime Bar which is located at Rolf Valley. This party will serve as a build-up to the big golden circle Miller party to be held on September 23 at Fusion.

Café Noir

On Saturday evening, the Café will host a “High Society Saturday” with T-Bass and SP Stylez on the decks. They will be backed by NR Ent.

CONCESSION

Dandamera Beerhall

Allan Chimbetu travels to Concession for a show at Dandamera Beerhall Friday night. He has performed in the Mashonaland Central town on several occasions.

BULAWAYO Horizon

The club will come to life on Saturday as Liquideep from South Africa will perform for the first time in Bulawayo. There will also be a “Miller Activation” after-party at the same venue. DJs Chuckie, Dee Nosh and L-Roy will be on the decks.

Metropolis Pub & Grill

On Friday evening, there is the “Divaz Ladies’ Nite” hosted by Sharon Dee. Saturday evening all-female dance group Girls La Musica take to the stage.

Kudu Bar

This evening, the club hosts the “Tequila Party” with a massive DJ line-up. Ladies will have free Tequila while there will also be a special on Johnnie Walker Red tots.

Hillside Dams

On Sunday afternoon, starting at 4pm, Alliance FranÇaise de Bulawayo in collaboration with Intwasa Arts Festival presents “Ethnic North African Traditional Melodies” featuring all-female group Bismillahi Gargar. It will be a family event. Part of the money collected will go towards the upkeep of dams and surrounding environment.

Bulawayo Theatre

The theatre hosts The Comeback, a play about Eli, who returns from the United Kingdom to rediscover herself and touch base with her roots after a miserable and rather unsuccessful stint abroad. She wants to pick up the pieces of her broken life. It was written by Sifiso Mabhena and directed by Leroy Gono.
