The 2011 Lion Lager Rugby Season has reached its defining moment as the top four teams on the log will be involved in the semi-finals on Saturday in Harare.

Harare Sports Club (HSC), who finished at the summit of the eight-team log will take on fourth-placed Bulawayo giants Old Miltonians at Harare Sports Club and the teams will be meeting for the second time in less than a month after HSC beat Old Mitonians 30 -14 in the city of the Kings (Bulawayo) in a league match.

Old Georgians, who finished second, will take on old enemies Old Hararians who finished third. In a league match earlier this month Old Georgians were 21-14 victors.

National Rugby League chairmam Noddy Kanyangarara confirmed the semi-finals will be played this weekend and the winners will proceed to the final on 10 September.

Mutate Sports Club were relegated from the top-flight rugby league.
