Energetic gospel sensation, Morline Kuwana aka “The Miriam of our Time”, who is currently rocking the airwaves, will next month release three videos from her debut six-track album Mwari Utatu which was released late last year.

Kuwana who has been working on videos for the songs Mwari Wezvishamiso, Believer and the title track Mwari Utatu, said she decided on compiling the videos after receiving a great response on those songs since their release last year.

“I would certainly love to do videos for the whole album, but I had to start with these ones because I feel they had great impact on the listeners as they are action packed and have very powerful messages that could change people’s lives,” she said.

Kuwana, who has branded herself as “The Miriam of our Time”, said she likened herself to Miriam the sister of Moses from the Bible who was famous for playing the tambourine and was also part of the musicians who caused the fall of the Biblical walls of Jericho.

She said just like Miriam, she could play the tambourine and knew that in this day her playing of the instrument could make some burdens fall from people’s lives.

Kuwana said she was humbled by the way people positively responded to her music as soon as it hit the airwaves and since then she had been impressed by the frequency with which her songs were being played locally.

“There’s always a new song in my heart. They come up anytime and anywhere and right now my next two albums are almost complete,” she said.

Kuwana said she would not stop spreading the Word of God through her music because she believed God had made her a vessel to spread the Word to nations.

The musician who is a member of the ZOE Life Changing Ministries said she preferred singing gospel music because of the influence she had received from her church leaders.
