Ajax Cape Town and Warriors hotshot Khama Billiat has no doubt that they can continue their fine form and beat Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday for a place in the MTN8 final.

The Zimbabwean striker scored the only goal of the game as the Urban Warriors beat neighbours Santos in the league on Wednesday, and was also in fine form during the goalless draw in the first leg semi-final against the Amakhosi.

Billiat believes that Ajax are starting to hit their straps and that they will progress if they maintain their upward trend.

“If we continue where we left off in Johannesburg (against Chiefs) and on Wednesday (against Santos) then yes, why not? We are playing well and definitely believe we can win,” he told KickOff.com. Billiat also felt that there is no point trying to single out a dangerman for Chiefs.

“We have to look at the whole team because we don’t know who will be playing. We can’t focus on just one player. They have a great team, but our focus is on what we must do to win this game.”

Billiat has been linked with a move to Chiefs and has also attracted some attention from overseas clubs, but he isn’t letting it disrupt his focus.

“It’s a good feeling when you hear that other clubs are watching you,” he said.

“You know what you want in life and the goals you want to achieve, but you don’t put it in your head. You just keep on playing and doing your job. It’s not a distraction, but rather a motivation for me.”
