Zapu has claimed retired army officers, war veterans, Zanu PF and MDC supporters have expressed willingness to participate in the coming elections on its banner.
Party spokesperson Methuseli Moyo told NewsDay yesterday: “We strongly believe that the party has gained momentum in terms of membership, to a point where we are ready for anything.
“The number of people coming forward such as retired army officers, war veterans, Zanu PF and MDC officials wishing to be councillors, members of parliament and senators on a Zapu ticket is encouraging.”
Moyo added they were confident of winning the forthcoming elections.
